Midwestern Cattle Marketing, LLC (MCM) Video Auctions use the most accurate form of price discovery available–competitive bidding. With competitive bidding, producers get the best price, and buyers get the best choice.
Because cattle is only moved once–from producer location to buyer location–cattle health is maintained, while costs are decreased. Through the Video Auction format, country fresh cattle are shown via high-quality videos in their natural surroundings, so buyers know exactly what they‘re getting. Buyers view auctions via Dish Network or the Internet, in real time, and bid by phone in a traditional fast-paced auction format. Both producers and buyers enjoy the benefit of conducting the transaction from a location of their choice.
MCM‘s Video Auction services are a partnership between MCM–which locates the cattle, interfaces with producers, and handles payments–and Western Video Market (WVM), which hires the auctioneers, sets the dates and locations, and broadcasts the auction on the day of the sale. By combining the expertise and skills of employees of each of these companies, this partnership has proven to be strong and effective.
